A Little About Me
My journey to become a wedding photographer has been anything but normal. I graduated from UCSB with an Environmental Studies degree and immediately began working with the Department of Fish & Game counting salmon in Humboldt County. I always loved taking photos and would take photos of the places I would visit or of my friends and I hanging out. But then one day, my friend called me and asked if I wanted to be her wedding photographer. I charged her nothing but what I earned that day instead was a lifelong passion to create the most amazing photos of people in love. Now several years later, my dreams have become a reality and I am now traveling the world taking photos of people on the best day of their lives.
So besides from taking photos, I love to surf, play volleyball, go to concerts (year 14 of Coachella coming up), play the drums, work on DJing skills, and of course, travel!
When it comes to your wedding photos, it's so much more than just getting that perfect shot. To me, it's all about making sure your wedding day experience is the best that it possibly can be. My number one priority on your wedding day is to make sure that you two have the times of your lives. I absolutely will get incredible photos but I want to be there for you in a the little moments in between. Because if you are comfortable and feel safe, your photos are going to more true to you and your love story.

Honestly this might sound cheezy, but every time I leave a wedding I feel so grateful to have been a part of it. Seeing people so happy, sharing their love with all their friends and family is truly magical. I get to be a part of moments that most family members don't even get to see so I have so much gratitude for my couples letting me be in those moments with them. Also, being able to have a creative outlet is something that I do not take for granted. Every wedding is different and I love being able to create memories that my couples will be able to share for years to come.

So the wait is finally over and your big day is here, what is it going to be like? Well I'm happy to tell you from start to finish what to expect. First thing is I'll probably get to wherever you are getting ready way to early because I don't want to miss a thing. I'm going to make sure you are both feeling good and keep reminding you to be in the moment and soak this all up!
Next up we got the ceremony. My approach is a little bit different at this point because I want to make sure I get some shots you will love, but not take away from the beauty of it. I'll be sure to capture the face of your future hubby as he lovingly looks at you, the walk down the aisle and of course, and that first incredible kiss as a married couple.
Now to my favorite part: the reception! The fun is just beginning, the drinks are flowing and your friends start to tear it up on the dance floor. I'm going to be walking around getting photos of you talking to the tables, cutting the cake and of course dancing. If you have a grand exit or a last dance, I'll be there to capture that too; no leaving early for me!
Long story short, I'm here for you every step of the way and will make sure that the photos I capture truly reflect your love <3.

When I'm not photographing incredible weddings, you will probably find me surfing in San Diego, playing video games (big nerd at heart), or trying to find the newest and coolest spot for food on Instagram. One of my absolute favorite things to do is travel so this is great chance to remind you if you are getting married somewhere outside of the USA, I will only charge you for my flight and hotel. I'm no math wizard, but that would be a huge discount. This is being posted in late 2024, so this might change in 2026 so take advantage of this and let's go places together!
